A 45-year-old supervisor of a private company was shot at, allegedly by his neighbour, over using loudspeakers during a party in outer Delhi's Narela on Monday morning.

According to police, the victim had a tiff with his neighbour five days ago when the former had asked the latter to reduce the volume of music during a party at his house.
The victim, identified as Satish Bhardwaj, sustained a bullet injury in him armpit after his neighbour, identified as Praveen Kumar, allegedly fired at him. Satish is said to be the elder brother of an Arjuna awardee for kabaddi.
BS Jaiswal, DCP (outer), however, said they will have to cross check this fact. According to Jaiswal, Satish was going to catch a train to Panipat from Narela railway station when the incident took place.
"Satish told us that Praveen fired at him from behind and that he was accompanied by another youth. It has been learnt that there was a dispute over playing loudspeakers," he said.
