Modi using Jung to finish off our party, says AAP

The AAP termed the L-G’s remarks over a host of issues following the Delhi High Court’s decision on administrative jurisdiction last week as those of an “artistic overlord”.

The Aam Aadmi Party said on Wednesday that the “anti-democracy and anti-people statements” being made by lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung shows these views are actually the opinion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the L-G reports to the Centre.

The AAP termed the L-G’s remarks over a host of issues following the Delhi High Court’s decision on administrative jurisdiction last week as those of an “aristocratic overlord”.

“The growing popularity of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and the revolutionary steps being taken by the Delhi government towards public welfare have scared the prime minister to the extent that he is determined to finish off the Aam Aadmi Party and its government. PM is using the L-G as his mouthpiece to express this desire of his,” AAP leader Dilip Pandey said.

“Delhi’s newly declared ‘overlord’ lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung has been declaring with great confidence his rights and powers through his media interviews,” he added.
