The autopsy report of Geetika Sharma, a 23-year-old former air hostess, has confirmed that she died due to hanging and there was no foul play in the incident.

The report, which was handed over to Delhi Police on Friday, says that there was no foul play and the time of suicide was one-and-half days before the post-mortem, which puts it at the wee hours of Sunday. The autopsy was conducted by a team of three doctors.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police continued its raids on the possible hideouts of ex-Haryana minister of state for home Gopal Goyal Kanda and reached Goa on Friday. Sources said that Kanda owns a casino in Goa and used to spend most of his time there.

“The HR manager of MDLR group, Aruna Chadha, who is in our custody told us about his hideouts in Goa,” said a senior police officer, who did not want to be named.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police have also sent a team to Siliguri, West Bengal, where Kanda’s in-laws live. “Several teams are working on the case,” the officer added.
