A bench comprising Justices Altamas Kabir and Cyriac Joseph declined to stay the tender invited by the port management. The tender are slated to close tomorrow. However, the bench said that the outcome of the technical and financial bids would be subject to its further order.

The direction came over a petition filed by IMC Ltd, country's largest independent bulk liquid storage company, challenging the tendering process.

The Gujarat High Court had on February 2 dismissed IMC's petition.
