One killed, 21 injured as bus overturns

A 52-year-old man was killed and 21 others injured when a mini-bus turned turtle near Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport toll tax office on Tuesday.

A 52-year-old man was killed and 21 others injured when a mini-bus turned turtle near Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport toll tax office on Tuesday. Police said the deceased has been identified as Rohtash Singh from Najafgarh.

The incident took place when the mini-bus was moving towards the airport at 8:30 this morning.

The police said the accident took place when the mini-bus driver turned the vehicle to avoid a collision with a motorcycle. Of the 21 injured, the condition of one of victims is stated to be critical.

Most of the passengers in the minibus were construction labourers at the airport.
