The minimum age limit to appear for the NEET UG examination is 17 years.

In NEET 2023, each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) will be divided into two sections. In section A, there will be 35 compulsory questions. In section B, there will be 15 questions of which candidates need to attempt 10.

In both sections, +4 will be awarded for correct, -1 for incorrect and 0 for not attempted/marked for review answers. If more than one option is correct then +4 will be awarded to those who have marked any of the correct options. If all options are found to be correct then +4 will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.

The difference in the marking scheme is that for incorrect questions or dropped questions, all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks in section A, irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not. However, in section B, only those who have attempted the question will get full marks in these situations.

The release date of NEET UG admit card is not available till now. The admit card is expected to be available on last week of April 2023, as the examination will be conducted on May 7, 2023.
