The MP high court on Monday granted permission to the APDMC to complete the admission process of DMAT-2015 by October 14, treating it as a special case.
The Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges (APDMC) sought more time to finish the admission process after the apex court fixed September 30 as last date.
The court permitted the APDMC to hold dental and medical admission test (DMAT) online afresh any time between October 8 and 10, 2015.
The APDMC told the court that “due to the bad publicity” of the test held on September 20, it was facing difficulty to find sufficient number of centres to hold the test afresh before September 30.
The association was allowed by the court to hold the test in limited centres.
The database administrator suggested the association to furnish the list of centres before the court so as verify that they fulfil the conditions laid down by the court.
The new schedule for the online DMAT-2015 was cleared after the court took on record a report furnished by database administrator CLM Reddy consenting to moderate with a rider on certain technical conditions, as requested by the APDMC. Reddy, ex-deputy director general of NIC, is the court-appointed technical supervisor for DMAT-2015.

{{/usCountry}}The suggestion comes after complaints from students of non-availability of pen/pencil and paper as some questions required calculations.
Additionally, the database administrator said the biometrics data and key strokes of candidates must be sent to the monitoring servers instantaneously during the examination, while the CCTV footage of the centres may be transferred within 24 hours of the test.
Further, he suggested that the agency seal the computer servers at the examination centres and maintain it for at least a week after the results are declared for scrutiny and review, if required. The agency must transfer the centre-wise data of the online test to AFRC and APDMC servers, the report said.
The HC was hearing a petition related to DMAT after the APDMC cancelled the online test held on September 20 following several complaints, including those related to power failure at various centres while the test was in progress.
