Research centre in Glasgow offers master’s programmes in pharmacy and biomedical science

Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences is launching a range of new master’s programmes to train students for employment in the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries and research.

The master’s courses will be available from September 2012. The courses include an MSc Biotechnology programme that combines principles of fermentation technologies with molecular approaches for making biotechnological products. MSc Biomedical Sciences provides knowledge and practical skills in the full range of biomedical sciences. Two new highly specialised research master’s courses will also be available. These are master’s in drug discovery and master’s in neuroscience.
