For Reetuparna Vishwanath of Laxman Public School, being young means “no ­responsibilities, laughing at lame jokes, pulling each other’s legs, making faces at our ­teacher’s back, and yes...having crushes.” Himanshu Kasturi of Summer Fields School says this is the time when “one is so ­ambitious that one moment you want to become an astronaut and the other a doctor. This is the state when one feels like a king, the master of the universe.”

HT Education had conducted an essay writing contest at the Skills Summit in which students were asked to write 100 words on “The best thing about being young.” After all, who knows it best than these young ones?

Rishika Nagar of Ramjas School, Pusa Road, very positively pointed out that “Age doesn’t matter, it’s your heart that matters, it’s your mind that makes you absolutely careless and free. If you are able to believe that you are young at heart, there is nobody who has the power to stop you from doing what you want to do.”
