What were your reasons for choosing St Bede’s College?

I applied at Delhi University but did not make the cut. Bede’s is a brand of its own. The teachers here are great and they encourage us to excel in our own streams, be it dance, sports or academics. Being a nature lover, I always enjoy being in the midst of greenery. Located in the lap of nature, the campus provides a peaceful environment to study.

Why did you opt for this course?
I had always wanted pursue BCom and I had heard that St Bede’s College offered the best educational course in BCom. It is one of the most reputed colleges of Himachal Pradesh University. The college keeps me in the midst of the ever beautiful Shimla mountains!

How has your experience been studying there?
The teachers here are very experienced. It’s a pleasure studying here with such amazing teachers. They put in complete efforts to make each and every child understand the course and go the extra mile for their students.

They conduct tests and give us assignments regularly to make sure that every student has understood the course/syllabus well. Life in Shimla is amazing...I simply love it.
It has its own magic and in its own way attracts people. Everyone is super friendly here! It may be tough to adjust with the cool weather initially.

A few things you love about this city...
The Mall Road: It is the best place where you can hang out with friends.

The Bee-Kays: It’s the best shop in the mall. I love to indulge in the junk food offered here with my friends... from chicken steak burger, pizza to ice
tea and momos, we love them all!

The peaceful environment is another thing which I love here. The cool breeze and the environment makes you feel as if you are in paradise.

Indian Institute of Advance Studies: It occupies the Observatory Hill. You should visit this place when you are here.

Snowfall: It’s the best thing about Shimla. Last year, I had experienced snowfall for the first time in my life and it was like heaven. The campus was pure white, all covered with snow
