A workshop in which students learnt concentration and relaxation skills and got answers to ‘tough’ math and science questions was organised as part of the All-Aboard programme at SD Public School in Pitampura recently.

School principal Anita Sharma stressed on the need for children to understand that they would be facing examinations not only when they studied but also while living their lives, so it was important to stay prepared for everything and not worry too much.

The session began with an ‘alertness’ test for the audience. Aparajita Dixit and Aparna Singh, counsellors with Expressions India, called out numbers coordinated with a set of exercises which everyone had to quickly respond to when the numbers were called out. The two counsellors also advised the students to eat right and improve their intake of fruits and vegetables and watch their carbohydrate consumption. Tips were given for time management, making time tables and creating flow charts for each chapter subject-wise for last-minute revision.
