The singer cleared the air between the two in a candid interview on Oprah's talk show. The 36-year-old artist said, "This is a huge milestone for me. Just being in your presence and on the show. That's a huge accomplishment", reports Daily Mail.

Oprah had visited 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, at his grandparents' house in Queens, New York, where he was raised following his mother's death back in 1983, says Daily Mail.

Oprah discussed whether 50 Cent had criticised the older white women in the audience of Oprah's show and also her criticism of rap music and use of the N word, says Daily Mail.

Oprah Winfrey also grilled the rapper by asking him why he named his dog 'Oprah', to which he explained, "At the time, I was just looking at the situation and I saw I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn't even know me - and I gave it to the dog".
