HT City brings you Fresh on Campus, a competition that will choose the coolest batch of 2010. This time it’s Sharda University.
Here’s your chance to vote
It was the turn of Greater Noida’s Sharda University to play host to the HT City Fresh On Campus Freshers’ Party on September 29. The event began with the hunt for the Daredevil and the Style diva of the year. After the ramp walk, a dance round for girls and push-ups round for boys, Munir Imtiaz, BTech (Mechanical), and Rukshar Yesmin, BTech (Computer Science) were adjudged the proud winners.
The
fuchhas
of this university, going the traditional way, sported the ethnic look, with girls in pretty sarees and guys in
sherwanis
and
churidars
. They also presented a fashion show depicting the varied culture of India, with a modern twist to it. The crowd at Sharda University was smiliarly a mix of students from all over India. A groovy jam session by DJ Sumit Sethi and DJ Vicky, with hit Bollywood numbers like
Aila re aila
and
Kya khoob lagti ho
made the students enjoy themselves to the hilt.
