She’s disappointed about not being able to buy the Pune IPL team that she was bidding for with beau actor Saif [Ali Khan], but actress Kareena Kapoor says it was good it didn’t happen. “We actually backed out of the bidding as the price went way too high. And it’s Saif who’s passionate about cricket; I know nothing about it.”

Cricket might be her weak link, but Kareena is “quite tech-savvy” by her own admission. Having just become the new brand ambassador for cellular company Sony Ericsson, she soon plans to come up with her website, that “will allow people to know more about me”. But she’s still mulling joining Twitter, because

“I don’t like to disclose my personal life”, clarifies the actress.

A confusing admission by an actress who has been extremely open about her relationships, much against the B-town norm. “You should celebrate love, and not hide it like a guilty. If you are hiding, there has to be something more to it.”

Kareena agrees that an actress “loses her desirable aura” after getting engaged or married, but she doesn’t feel it’s applicable to her.

The actress is happy playing a married woman only on screen. In Shah Rukh Khan’s home-production RaOne, she’ll be seen as SRK’s wife. Right now, she’s readying for the release of Milenge Milenge, which, for the record, she is not promoting with her ex-beau Shahid Kapoor.

But Kareena says she “just loves” Serendipity, the film’s Hollywood original.
