Actor Abhishek Bachchan has sung high praises for his father Amitabh Bachchan on
, which has not gone down too well with his fans on the site.
Lauding his dad’s performance in Rann, Abhishek wrote on his Twitter page, “We don’t deserve a talent like Mr Amitabh Bachchan! Don’t think we can make movies to fit his talent!”
But Abhishek’s followers aren’t too pleased. “It’s really lame to praise your own family, in media, especially to this extent. You should let people praise him,” wrote one follower. To this, Abhi replied, “Well, its my twitter page, so I have the freedom to write whatever I want and praise whoever I want. Don’t like it? Don’t read it!” Another follower wrote, “Its arrogant 2 say, ‘Don’t like it, don’t read it’. Whole world knows your father’s credentials.”
Incidentally, Abhishek has been roped in for filmmaker Anurag Basu’s next, which the latter will start once he wraps up with Hrithik Roshan starrer Kites.
