Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is five months pregnant — It was five months ago that the Bachchan family consulted astro-architect Neeta Sinha to give a name to Aishwarya and Abhishek’s space in Jalsa, and that’s what probably brought in all the joy in their lives.
“Five months back, I had gone to Jalsa and suggested that Abhishek and Aishwarya name their house with the letter ‘V’. Later, Abhishek’s sister Shweta came up with the name Vatsa. I had not shared this with anyone as I was waiting for the results. And, here they are,” says Neeta who had previously changed the name of the Bachchan bungalow from Mansa to Jalsa.
Explaining the concept of astro-architecture, she says, “Astro-architecture is a science that combines the science of Vaastu, Feng Shui and astrology with architecture. We conducted a researches in 30,000 houses and found that every house has a horoscope. We balance it according to the chart of the house. The cures are very simple. You just need some crystals, wind chimes, mirrors and a pop of colour here and there.”
Talking about the Bachchans, Sinha says, “Whenever there is any renovation in the Bachchans house, they call me. My interaction is most with Jayaji. I had visited them two months back when there was a renovation in their room and Amitjee’s private study,” says Sinha, whose Bollywood clientele includes Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Bipasha Basu, John Abraham, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan. “I had also given the letter M for Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat and named both his companies — Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment. I had advised Akshay Kumar to buy his house under the name Rajeev Bhatia as it worked better for him, and recently named Sussaane Roshan’s Charcoal Studio. Farhan Akhtar has also bought a new house and I am working on it,” says Sinha.
