Helen confirms, “It was wonderful to dance again after all these years. It’s a fun song with a Goan feel, which we finished in just two days.” Originally, she was supposed to dance to her hit number from

(1978), ‘

Yeh mera dil…

’, which also featured in Farhan Akhtar’s remake of

Don

(2006).

In fact, there’s a dialogue in the film, where Helen sportingly says, ‘

Jab Kareena ispe dance kar sakti hai toh main kyun nahi?

’ (When Kareena can dance to it, why can’t I?). Says Kapil Sharma, writer and actor of

Dunno Y..,

“The music company which holds the copyright of the original song demanded an exorbitant amount. So we altered the dialogues a bit and made a fresh song.”
