Reese Witherspoon, who suffered injuries after being hit by a car while jogging last week, is reportedly still ‘frightened’ by the accident.
Now, the 36-year-old actor was snapped with a black eye and other injuries as she arrived at a friend's house for a party in Los Angeles.
Wearing a blue, knee-length dress and brown boots, the actor was also sporting an injury on her knee. Nevertheless, the brave star even shared a joke with her friend while unloading her car.
It's the first time since the accident that the actor has revelaed the extent of her injuries. Earlier, she was snapped with husband Jim Toth, two days after the accident, wearing dark sunglasses.
“The whole incident really frightened her,” a source told Us Weekly.
“It was very scary… She’s very lucky. [Now] she’s just resting up, but it’s been a very scary experience for her and Jim [Toth],” the source said.
“The odd thing about all of this is that Reese has always been very afraid of being hit by a car. It’s been an ongoing fear of hers,” the source added.

Witherspoon will not be pressing charges against the driver.
