The famous pranksters of Bollywood got you this time. Akshay Kumar and John Abraham decided to celebrate Fool’s Day on April 1 by staging a mock fight with each other. And HT City decided to play along, in the spirit of harmless fun.
“It was actually producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s idea as he loves playing pranks even though he’s poker faced all the time. April 1 seemed like the perfect day,” laughs Akshay.
“After the story of our brawl got carried in HT, I got so many calls from my friends, even from abroad, asking me what went wrong. I had to keep a straight face but man, it was tough,” says John. After the story about Akshay and John’s fight got published on our front page yesterday, we received several calls and messages from anxious fans, and also from TV channels, who wanted to follow up the ‘masala’ story.
“Anything for a hearty laugh,” sums up Akshay.
