Actress Amrita Arora, who married industrialist Shakeel Ladak in March 9, 2009, gave birth to a baby boy on Friday in Mumbai. Congratulations from the film fraternity started coming in almost immediately after the news came out.



Actress Priyanka Chopra posted on microblogging site Twitter, "Congratulations to Amu (Amrita Arora) who delivered a healthy and beautiful Baby Boy May he be blessed always!"



Actor Riteish Deshmukh posted on the same site, "Congratulations Amu (Amrita Arora) and Shakeel. It’s a beautiful baby boy."



The duo had a Catholic wedding followed by a nikaah. Amrita also lost out on a film project because of her pregnancy.
