Jennifer Aniston seems to have been rejected by Cougar Town star Josh Hopkins.

Aniston, 41, and Josh, 40, began casually dating in May after meeting through Courteney Cox, her BFF and his co-star on the ABC comedy.

Before long, Aniston "wanted a relationship. And he was like, no, thank you," according to a source.

Hopkins is "a player and is into meeting younger girls, he definitely lies to girls," Usmagazine.com quoted the source as saying.

The actor even has a raunchy nickname for Aniston.

"Josh calls Jennifer his ''sport f-k, simply friends with benefits," according to a friend of Hopkins.

Hopkins has been careful to publicly deny a romance with Brad Pitt's ex-wife.

However, Aniston, who famously dated John Mayer, isn't crying.

She "likes her life the way it is, her type? Really good-looking a--holes" the source added.
