On the advice of his ex mother-in-law, love rat Ashley Cole is reportedly planning to take his former wife Cheryl off for a “second honeymoon” in South Africa.
However, Cheryl’s former lover Derek Hough, 26, is irked by the news.
He has taken the Girls Aloud babe, 28, to Africa twice in the past year.
But now dancer Hough is said to be furious that Cheryl has not only got back with footballer but that the pair is planning the romantic trip.
“It’s a kick in the teeth. The poor man has been unceremoniously dumped by Cheryl and now she and Ash are off to Africa which Derek used to call ‘their place’,” the Daily Star quoted a pal as saying.
The idea for the romantic holiday in South Africa came from Cheryl’s mum Joan.
A pal said: “When he mentioned taking her away to Jamaica, Joan said it was a good idea.
“But she said he would be better off choosing somewhere like South Africa because she knows Cheryl loves the place.
“Joan appears to be warming to Ashley again – for the time being,” the pal added.
