She has sung the opening alaap for filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s upcoming Hindi film Lahore. Wayne Sharpe, who has worked on an Academy-nominated film in the past, has done the background music of the movie. Scott’s repertoire also includes Passion of the Christ, Transformers, Shrek 2, Munich, and Saving Private Ryan. Chauhan says he got enamoured by Scott’s voice after listening to the scores of Steven Spielberg’s film Munich, but was not sure if she will join his project.

But Scott didn’t prove hard-to-get. “It was a wonderful and intense experience working with Wayne on his beautiful score for Lahore. I was mesmerised and realised what an important and special film this was. I am very excited to see and hear the final results,” says the singer. Sharpe, too, is all praise for Scott. “Lisbeth is undoubtedly the most intense singer I have ever come across, and yet, she’s so serene. I have used her voice throughout the movie,” says the composer, who admits to having been influenced by the music of AR Rahman.

Set against the backdrop of kickboxing, Lahore is touted to be the most authentic sports film ever made in India. It is shot in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Malaysia and has won several international awards.
