Beyonce and Jay-Z to change names
R&B star Beyonce Knowles and her husband rapper Jay-Z are about to adopt each others surnames in order to keep the Knowles dynasty alive. After the change of name, the 28-year-old singer will be known as Beyonce Knowles-Carter, adopting the last name of Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter.

In Love' star's parental line from dying out, reported Daily Star online.
The 28-year-old singer will be known as Beyonce Knowles-Carter, adopting the last name of Jay-Z, whose real
name is Shawn Carter. The rapper will change is name to Shawn Knowles-Carter.
"They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce's parents didn't have any sons and they're keen to keep the name going
strong, especially if they don't produce any children themselves," said a source.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Beyonce's parents Tina and Mathew would be divorcing after 29 years of
marriage.
