Sixteen years after she became India’s first Ms Universe, actress Sushmita Sen wants to give the same chance to other aspirants through I AM SHE, the Indian preliminary to this year’s contest. “Ms Universe offered me its India franchise. I said yes thinking I’ll decide what to do with it later,” said Sushmita, promoting it in Delhi this week.

Sush promises to make a difference to the way the pageant has been handled so far. “Till now they have just been dressing up the girls. We’ll ensure that we don’t become a part of the rat race.”
