So what are you doing this Holi? If you are in the mood to socialise, do step out and take a special Holi tour organised by Nature Knights. Spanning two days, the tour lets Mumbaikars make new friends as they head out to Nagaon Beach near Alibaugh for the festival of colours. The tour also winds up just in time to catch the second innings of the crucial India-West Indies match on Sunday.

“Holi is a time to socialise and meet old friends and make new ones. We have been conducting this kind of event in the countryside for many years now. However, this time around, we are doing it in a little different manner and are adapting the event to suit the current World Cup series,” says Asif, founder of Nature Knights, which is a group of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures who have come together to discover that there's more to life than a regimental and monotonous work routine.

The tour kicks off between 3-4 pm on today. Those interested will be picked up from pre-determined points around the city. They will then head on to Agro Beach Resort in Nagaon, after stopping for tea and snacks on the way. That night at the camp site, members can have dinner, participate in a Holi campfire (burning of Holika) or even have a barbecue.
