I'm told that Deepak dada has been working with the Big B for over three decades and is like a member of the Bachchan family. So when the actor learnt that his loyalist was being honoured, he made sure that he was present at the event to share Sawant's moment of glory.

And that's not all. Big B even wrote extensively on his blog about Sawant's association with him since Saat Hindustani and how he had never missed a single day of work in all these years. Wah, kya baat hai!
