On Friday night, everyone turned up at Mumbai nightclub, Aurus, for the joint birthday party of actors Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar. The very next night, they were out for the first awards of the season — the Star Screen Awards, hosted by actor Shahid Kapoor.
Amitabh Bachchan, who won the award for Best Actor for
Paa
, danced on stage with son Abhishek and actors Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid. Afterwards, SRK posted on Twitter, “Shahid u rocked. Abhishek u r the coolest. I danced with Auro... way too cool.”
The previous night SRK was seen bonding with Abhishek at Hrithik’s party. In fact, the two even left the party together. According to sources, Abhishek, who arrived at the party at 3 am with wife Aishwarya, was seen chilling with actor Vivek Oberoi (Ash’s ex-beau), who came to the party on his new bike — a yellow Ducati. “Abhishek and Hrithik were smitten by the bike. In fact, Vivek even took Farhan out for a ride at 4 am,” said a source.
During the party, actor Arjun Rampal came out and asked media persons to go home as the party would go on till sunrise. In the wee hours of the morning, actor Sohail Khan and brother Arbaaz walked out, seemingly drunk. According to a source, “While Arbaaz went to look for the car, Sohail left with actor Dino Morea in an auto rickshaw. Actress Preity Zinta, who caught up with Aishwarya at the awards ceremony, later tweeted, “Aishwarya is a really cool girl and I absolutely adore her and AB.”
