Bollywood mourns crash victims

Bollywood celebrities have been tweeting non-stop since Saturday morning, when the news of the Mangalore plane crash broke.

Bollywood celebrities have been tweeting non-stop since Saturday morning, when the news of the Mangalore plane crash broke. The stars not only expressed their condolences, but also re-tweeted helpline numbers on microblogging site Twitter. Later in the evening, some celebrities even posted the names of survivors.

“Feeling terrible. Plane crash...so sad...so sad,” wrote Amitabh Bachchan. “Too upsetting to hear all the news coming in about the crash...thoughts, prayers and strength to all the families,” wrote director Karan Johar. Actresses Deepika Padukone and Neha Dhupia prayed for the families.

“May god give the families strength. R.I.P,” wrote actor Riteish Deshmukh. Actress Barbara Mori called on fans and followers to maintain a two minute silence for the victims.
