Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Kapoor shared an unseen pic with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt on Sunday. The duo was seen posing with their friends.

Neetu Kapoor has shared a picture featuring Alia Bhatt and a few of their common friends on Sunday. The veteran actor shared the group picture to mark one of their friends' birthday.

In the picture, shared on Instagram Stories, Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen seated beside each other, surrounded by their friends. Alia, who is dating Neetu's son Ranbir Kapoor, was wearing a black blouse with a polka-dot skirt. Neetu also opted for a black blouse with a white neckline, which she paired with a pair of pants. Neetu shared the picture with the caption, "Happy birthday to the sweetest."

Neetu shares a close bond with Alia. Last month, the actor posted a picture featuring daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir, granddaughter Samara Sahni and Alia, and called them her 'world'. Neetu has also often been spotted with Alia's family members Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt for birthday celebrations. She was seen posing for pictures at Alia's grandfather's birthday.

Alia and Ranbir have been together for over three years now. Ranbir said that the couple had planned to tie the knot. However, the plans were delayed owing to the pandemic. “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life,” he said, speaking with former journalist Rajeev Masand last year.

Meanwhile, Neetu, Alia and Ranbir have been working on their respective projects. Neetu is set to make her acting come back with Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor. Alia, on the other hand, has Brahmastra with Ranbir, RRR helmed by SS Rajamouli, Gangubai Kathiawadi by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and her maiden home productio Darlings. Besides Brahmastra, Ranbir also has Shamshera and Animal in the making.
