Soni Razdan expresses gratitude, shares unseen pictures of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as couple expect first child

Soni Razdan shared two unseen pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with a message to express her happiness on becoming a grandmother.

Ever since Alia Bhatt announced her and Ranbir Kapoor's ‘baby is coming soon’, their family members and friends haven't stopped congratulating them one by one. Late Monday, Alia's mom Soni Razdan shared two unseen pictures of Alia and Ranbir from their South Africa vacation on Instagram. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going to become parents soon. 

Sharing the two pictures, Soni wrote, "Gratitude. May your tribe increase." The first picture shows Ranbir Kapoor clicking a selfie with Alia while the two are in winter jackets. The second one shows Alia and Ranbir in winter jackets and woolen caps, sitting in a van during their jungle safari.

Soni Razdan shared a post on Monday. 

Actor Ira Dubey commented on her post, "Congrats nani!!!" Nafisa Ali Sodhi said, “So happy, blessings my friend.” One of Soni's fans wrote in the comments section, “Where were you hiding these cute pictures full of feelings. Please don't hide such wonderful memories I love you so much.” Another wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to both the families. God bless the couple.”

Soni had earlier wished Alia and Ranbir in the comments section of the former's post announcing her pregnancy. As Alia wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon,” along with a picture of him and Ranbir from the hospital, Soni commented on it, “Congratulations Mama and Papa lion.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir's mom Neetu Kapoor was on a set when Alia shared the news with the world. She looked surprised as the paparazzi asked her for a reaction. She said, "Sabko pata chal gaya dadi banne wali hun (everyone got to know that I am going to be a grandmother)" to which a photographer responded, "Alia ne daal diya Instagram par (Alia has announced on her Instagram)."

Alia and Ranbir had tied the knot at the latter's house in April. It was a heavily guarded affair with very few family and friends in attendance.
