Hollywood star Jessica Biel tries not to listen to “toxic” criticism or negative opinions of her life and work. The ‘A-Team’ actress admits she tries to avoid paying attention to negative opinions because she doesn’t want to live her life trying to please others.
“If you let in, what people say about you and how people think about you, it’s just toxic. It’s just horrible to try to please a bunch of people that you’ve never met before, who want to just make assumptions about your life and your career,” Biel said.
Although she doesn’t like the negative response, Biel also finds it difficult to accept a compliment. "I think you just kind of go with it more than anything else, because it’s incredibly flattering to have that said about you.
But come on, let’s get serious, there are a lot of people around the world that we don’t know about who are probably incredibly beautiful, so it just feels like, ‘OK, cool. Thanks, I appreciate it’,” Biel said.
