A raunchy Calvin Klein billboard depicting a teenage girl in a threesome has come under fire for being “borderline pornographic”.
Passers-by have expressed their fury at the massive, sexually suggestive ad on a building at Lafayette and Houston Sts. in SoHo.
The endorsement shows a topless young woman on top of a bare chested lad, while engaged in a lip lock with a second shirtless male on a sofa.
A third male with unbuttoned pants and shirt can be seen lying on the floor below the pair, with suggestions of a foursome.
"It's borderline pornographic," the New York Daily News quoted neighbourhood resident Lisa Marchese, a marketing specialist, as saying.
"They all look so young, particularly the girl. And to portray them in a threesome - it's just taking it too far," she added.
Murray Hill resident Alicia Shay, who sells jeans for a living, added: "It's pretty provocative. Just the positioning of them all - she's kissing him, the other guy has his hands down her pants, they're all misty even. It''s really inappropriate."
A Calvin Klein spokesman denied the claims, saying that the "intention was to create a very sexy campaign that speaks to our targeted demographic."
