Cannabis turned Pitt into 'doughnut'

Actor Brad Pitt admits that addiction to cannabis had turned him into a recluse. Last year, the 48-year-old star, who was nominated for the best actor Oscar, even quit smoking cigarettes regularly after he was caught puffing by two of his children.

Actor Brad Pitt admits that addiction to cannabis had turned him into a recluse. "I got really sick of myself at the end of the 1990s. I was hiding out from the celebrity thing, I was smoking way too much dope, I was sitting on the couch and just turning into a doughnut and I really got irritated with myself," hollywoodreporter.com quoted Pitt as saying.

Last year, the 48-year-old star, who was nominated for the best actor Oscar, even quit smoking cigarettes regularly after he was caught puffing by two of his children -- daughters Zahara and Shiloh.

Pitt currently raises six kids with partner Angelina Jolie, who is reportedly pregnant with another of their child.
