Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron says she is ready to be a mother and is gearing up to raise a big family.
Her maternal feelings were roused after she played an expectant mother in her new movie, The Road, a post-apocalyptic thriller. And now, she is eager to become a mother in real life, reported Daily Telegraph.
“I’m ready for that phase of my life,” said the actress, who had to wear a prosthetic belly for her role.
“I’m reaching the point where I would love to be a mom. I know I want to raise a big family, and it’s just a question of time now,” she added.
The 34-year-old actress is very satisfied with her personal life and is proud of her relationship with boyfriend Stuart Townsend.

“I feel very blessed to have had a certain amount of success, and I’m proud of the life I’ve built with my man over the past nine years,” said the actress.
Theron and Townsend, also an actor and director, met on the set of the film Trapped in 2002 and have kept their relationship out of the spotlight and the scrutiny of Hollywood.
