In a bid to improve the law and order situation, the Kanpur Police has set-up an account at the social-networking site Facebook for the immediate redressal of grievances.

A police team, led by a DCP-level officer, will soon be formed to update the account page and address grievances regarding law and order situation in Kanpur. Citizens can also register their complaints against corrupt officials without identifying themselves.
