Courtney, who managed to land a role in the Scream films despite her shyness, has gone on to front popular comedy series Cougar Town, playing a divorcee in her 40s.

She admits she is “much more content” but says she is still hurt by having been the only one of the Friends cast not to have been nominated for an Emmy award.

“My ego got really bruised. When everyone did but me that doesn’t feel good at all,” said the actress.
