Actor Deepika Padukone, who recently played the role of a Tamil gangster’s daughter in Chennai Express, is a south Indian at heart as well. The Bengaluru girl enjoys traditional food and filter coffee and, turns out, she’s not the only one who loves the cuisine. Many of her friends from the industry, including actors and filmmakers, want to conduct meetings at her Prabhadevi residence just so that they can gorge on some of the traditional food and south Indian filter coffee.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Deepika loves sipping on coffee made at her house, especially in the mornings. She sources the best filter coffee from her home city. Everyone enjoys the coffee made at her house as it has the perfect strength and aroma, just like you get down south. Moreover, Deepika has personally trained her staff to brew it in a certain manner.”

In fact, even the food at her house is typical home-style fare found in a south Indian home.
