Olsen grew up in front of the cameras alongside twin sister Ashley in hit sitcom Full House (1987), but now considers herself more of a designer than anything else, Marie Claire magazine reported. The two sisters have founded three successful clothing lines.

Though Olsen is grateful for the opportunities she got on screen, she finds it hard to relate to her past.
