Rani Bagh is one of the many popular markets of North-West Delhi. A haven for foodies and shopaholics, this place, which is at a 20-minute rickshaw ride from Kohat Enclave Metro station, is a hit with youngsters for hip footwear and accessories. We explore a few must-visit places in the market.

Foodie’s Utopia
If you are an egg lover, then you must visit an eatery called, Omelettes. Located at the right-hand corner of the entrance, the place offers a variety of omelettes, including fluffy (Rs 45), masala (Rs 35) and their special premium (Rs 60), which they make using square box pans. Also try their milk shakes, coolers and desserts (Rs 15-Rs 60). From here, walk straight inside. About 50 steps ahead, get ready to be wooed by the delicious aroma of chhole bhature (Rs 35 per plate) at Om Corner. And if you find it a little spicy, cool it down with some lassi (Rs 25).

Take a few more steps and you’ll find Bittoo Samosay Wala, a small eatery famous for its paneer samosa, macroni samosa and noodles samosa (Rs 11 each). Apart from these, you can also feast on other delights in the market, including gola (chuski), bhel puri, American sweet corn and more.

Their prices range between Rs 4,000 and Rs 2,00,000. For buying trendy footwear, head to She Square, which has a wide variety of footwear, and also belts and purses, both for men and women. Prices range between Rs 170-Rs 2,500. Try the colourful flip-flops (Rs 199-Rs 599), which are perfect for the summer. For accessory shopping, head to Disha Art Gallery, where you will find junk jewellery (Rs 65- Rs 350) and hair accessories including trendy hair gears (Rs 5-Rs 350). For more affordable options and variety, you can also try the street kiosks selling bags, flip-flops, accessories, clothes and cosmetics.
