Delhi has always done its bit to to acknowledge girl power. The closing ceremony of Vital Voices of Asia, a Leadership and Training Summit organised for women by Vital Voices and Avon Foundation, saw a documentary-cum-theatrical performance by some of Bollywood’s leading ladies, such as Shabana Azmi and Urmila Matondkar.

The act was followed by a discussion with all the actors and Mu Sochua, an activist and politician from Cambodia, whose life and experience formed one of the characters of the play,

But all that serious talk gave way to a relaxed celebration, with women delegations from around the world and guests like supercop Kiran Bedi, actors Jayati Bhatia , Mahira Kakkar, and Tannishtha Chatterjee, seen enjoying at The Taj Palace hotel that evening.
