Fly your carpet to your wall’ - a People for Animals (PFA) fundraiser, jointly organised by Kingfisher at The Lalit hotel, saw special carpets being exhibited to raise money for needy animals.

But more than the carpets, it was business tycoon Vijay Mallaya who everyone wanted to see at the event. “Has he arrived?” whispered many a guest among each other. But much to everyone’s disappointment, he gave this do a miss.

FDCI President Sunil Sethi, whose company Design Alliance has created the carpets, paid a flying visit. Others present included PFA Chairperson Maneka Gandhi, designer Reynu Tandoon, and artist Jatin Das.
