I had enough of Madhu my Mottu Maid and Rapchik Rajni forever burrowed in social networking and mirco-blogging sites all day, so I’ve exiled them from my zindagani for a week. For starters, I’ve just been informed that Amitabh Bachchan was initially scheduled to travel out of town for this weekend. According to my jasoos from Juhu, the superstar cancelled his plans to launch the music of Robot at Marriot hotel on Saturday evening.
Apparently, when the producers at Sun TV had called Big B, seeking his presence to release the movie’s soundtrack, they were informed that he would be unavailable due to prior commitments.
However, when he later learnt that Rajnikanth too was coming and was making his first public appearance after 15 years, he altered his travel schedule. I’m told that Rajni sir and Bachchan saab share a friendship that goes back over 25 years ago… when they acted together in films like Andhaa Kanoon and Geraftaar in the mid-1980’s.
