A nightlife in Chembur is a far cry.. given that the suburb doesn’t have a multiplex. So when G Spot opened its glass doors.. the prayers of local partygoers were answered. Enter the lounge (the thumping music can be heard at ground level) and a wacky set-up awaits you. Tables adorned with seductive pouting women, purple tinged walls and the high ceiling with dim lights add up to a zany ambience.

Music and more
The tiny bar glows despite the minimal lighting and is lined up with beige bar stools which give enough space to your er.. derriere (unlike the minuscule ones you spot in every second pub). The dungeon-like space, with orange sofas, stylish low seating and retro-themed couches make for an easy time, especially with the nonstop flow of Gimme gimme and World, hold on.

The DJ who knows his music, whips up remixed hip-hop numbers and chartbusters. And there’s enormous space for you to boogie. The blasting woofers do cut your conversations.. but who needs that with cocktails? A bartender, with a perpetual grin on his face, mixes the heady Margarita (Rs 300). The Cranberry Cooler (Rs 150) or the Fruit Punch (Rs 150) can keep you company till the starters arrive. Paneer in spicy variations, Sabzi Seekh kabab (Rs 185), Prawns Snowball (Rs 345) are passable.
