Neil Nitin Mukesh seems keen to carry forward his family’s legacy of singing. The actor, who had earlier recorded a song for his film Aa Dekhen Zara, has sung again, this time for Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film, Jail.
The actor is pleased with the outcome. “The song has a super feel to it. Madhurji asked me to sing it and so I did,” he says. Bhandarkar admits Neil has inherited his father’s and grandfather’s singing talent. “He’s a great singer. When I asked him to sing, he was absolutely excited. The song is a remix called Sajan Re. We’ll also have a music video to go with it,” he says.
Apart from the thrill of singing, Neil is also excited about being in an album that also features Lata Mangeshkar, who has sung the background score for Jail.
