Arun Nayar was spotted partying it up in Mumbai on Sunday. Even as his estranged wife, actor Liz Hurley, is reportedly begging him to take her back, after her failed fling with Aussie cricketer Shane Warne, Nayar seems unfazed. Unrattled by the media glare on the bitter break-up, Nayar, friends insist, has moved on.

Nisha Jamwal, a close friend of Nayar’s Mumbai based parents, says, “I don’t see why Arun’s partying in Mumbai should raise eyebrows. If he’s having a good time, it’s obvious he is happy. There is nothing negative about a separation. It is good that he is moving on.” Another friend, who wants to stay anonymous, adds, “I have spoken to Vinod and Joanee (Nayar’s parents) and they seem quite happy about the split. They are quite forward looking and believe in ‘live and let live."

Riyhad Kundanmal, a Mumbai industrialist and Nayar’s friend says, “Arun is in a good mood and having a good time. He is a private person and will not go around talking about his life.” Socialite Aarti Surendranath says, “Arun is absolutely fine. Those commenting on his life are not his true friends.”

Hurley, meanwhile, has been trying to deny reports about an impending divorce with Nayar. Blaming the Indian media for spreading rumors, she tweeted. “Bored of silly speculations: no one is divorcing anyone yet, no one is fighting over money. I have no plans to go to Australia!” Nayar could not be reached for comment.
