Actor Hugh Grant was in talks to replace troubled actor Charlie Sheen in hit sitcom Two And A Half Men. However, there is no official confirmation on the the status of Grant's negotiations with the show bosses.

"The show was in talks with Hugh Grant to become the new lead. And wouldn't it be brilliant if it were so?," people.com quoted a source as saying.

However, there is no official confirmation on the the status of Grant's negotiations with the show bosses.

Apart from Grant, actors Rob Lowe and John Stamos were also considered.
