Sonam Kapoor may be a self-proclaimed daddy’s girl, but she claims that the money that goes into her extravagant lifestyle is all her own. The actor, who appears on Simi Garewal’s talk show this week, insists she can provide for herself: “I live in my father’s house, but he has never bought me a designer thing in his life. I bought my first designer bag with money earned from doing a ramp show around the time that Saawariya released.”

Terming her parents, actor Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita as ‘particular’, she says, “They’ve never flown me first class, I’ve travelled in economy class all my life. My first car too was bought with my own money. I pay my own bills and am very particular about it.”
