, Anand says, “Is it really being said that

Leap Year

is based on

Jab We Met

? I’ve never heard of that movie. If anything, the inspiration for it is a movie called

I Know where I am Going

by Michael Powell, made in 1945.” The reports floating around in tabloids and movie portals, also mentioned that Tucker had watched

Jab We Met

and was inspired to do a film on similar lines, but in a Western setting. Tucker, a two-time BAFTA nominee, however, says he is yet to see a Bollywood film. “Well, I’m half Indian but I’ve never lived in India. I don’t speak the language, but love Indian food. And I haven’t really seen Bollywood films.”
