The Bachchan family has been firefighting controversy after Jaya Bachchan’s ‘I’m from UP’ remarks in Maharashtra for the last few days.
News of Sonia Gandhi stepping in to help had led to speculation that the Bachchans and the Gandhis may have become friendly again. But when questioned about it, Amitabh Bachchan surprised everybody with his reply. “
Mujhe is baare mein koi jaankari nahi hai, isliye main koi tippani nahi dena chahunga

And putting an end to any doubts about his stand on the matter, he said, “
